What does being productive online means
By codeiris
Internet is a time drainer. It will make you waste your time without even telling you. At one moment, you are working on something really important and the email notifier tells you that there is a new email in your mailbox. You just leave that important task right there, and go ahead check that email. It turns out it wasn't important at all. So what happens in this is that going on and checking your email, breaks your focus on the important task you were working on. Result is you failed to complete the task in the time you allotted.
There are lot of examples like that where you no longer stay productive. And my friends, time is the real money. More you utilize in proper way, more positive results you'll get.
There are a lot of techniques, tools and processes out there that can help you to utilize your time online productively. You need to go out and look for applications (software) that will help you get your stuff done, in a productive manner. You can get applications for anything. If you are a Project Manager, you can get a lot of applications that will help you manage your projects effectively.
So I have compiled a list of application types that you can find online and as well load in your mobile to help you along and utilize your time effectively.
- Intelligent Email Clients
- RSS Feed Readers
- Financial Applications
- Social Networking Tools and Websites
- Project Management Applications
- File Sharing Applications
- To Do Managers
- Online Word Processors
- Online Spreadsheets
- GPS Apps ( for your mobiles )
- And many many more...
There are a lot more of these types. I will share a lot more specific applications with you in future.
I found a hub that lay down the importance of time when you online.
Let me know as well, if you find something great.
